What to Report

We investigate reports of the following violations:

🔴 License Removal

Fork removed the LICENSE file or replaced it with a different license (MIT, Apache, GPL, etc.)

✂️ License Modification

Humanitarian restrictions removed or modified to permit prohibited applications

⚔️ Prohibited Use

Software used for military, surveillance, weapons, or other explicitly banned applications

🏢 Known Violators

Use by defense contractors, surveillance companies, or state military entities

We take whistleblower protection seriously. If you are reporting your own employer or organization:

Please only submit good faith reports of actual violations. False or bad faith reports may be subject to legal action. If you're unsure whether something is a violation, contact us at licensing@aos-constitution.com for clarification.

What Happens Next

  1. Initial Review (1-3 business days): We review your report and assess validity
  2. Investigation (1-2 weeks): We investigate the violation and gather evidence
  3. Action (varies): Depending on severity:
    • DMCA takedown notice (for license removal)
    • Cease and desist letter (for prohibited use)
    • Public disclosure (for egregious violations)
    • Legal action (if necessary)
  4. Follow-up: If you provided contact info, we'll update you on the outcome
